Lynx (“we,” “our,” or “the Platform”) is a curated marketplace connecting soccer players with verified trainers. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it. 2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In). Trainers also submit professional credentials, certifications, coaching experience, and location data during the application process.

Profile Information

Players may provide their age, skill level, playing position, training goals, preferred location, and availability. Trainers provide their bio, specialties, service area, availability, and hourly rate.

Messages & Communications

We store messages exchanged between matched players and trainers, including text content and images shared within conversations. Messages are subject to automated content moderation for safety purposes.

Session & Booking Data

We collect information about training sessions including scheduled dates, locations, duration, session notes, and reviews/ratings provided after sessions.

Location Data

Trainers provide their service area (city and radius). Players may provide a preferred training location. We use this data solely to facilitate nearby trainer matching. We do not track real-time GPS location.

Device & Usage Data

We collect standard log data including IP addresses, browser type, device type, pages visited, and push notification subscription tokens. We use this to maintain and improve platform performance.

Safety: To prevent fraud, abuse, or threats to safety

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via OAuth 2.0, and access controls limiting who can view your information. Trainer applications and credentials undergo manual verification by our team.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Message history and session records may be anonymized and retained for platform analytics.

All trainers undergo verification before being allowed to interact with any users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

9. Push Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications about new messages, session proposals, session confirmations, and important updates. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or the Lynx app settings.

10. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use browser local storage to save your notification preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the platform or via email. Your continued use of Lynx after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
